I have always been creating, drawing, building in some way pretty much my entire life. i started drawing in public school and continued throughout highschool. My sketches were usually of transport trucks and jets. i am a carpenter by trade, designing and building many things around paper sketches and dimensions.
It had never occured to me to paint (for the fun of it). Out of the blue I gave it a try around 2010, it has held my interest ever since. I really enjoy plein air sketching/painting, and I am broadening my horizons to include more ocean/water as well as mountains scapes which (eventually) will lead me to even more interesting and beautiful places here on this planet.
i am constantly exploring various techninques and I’m also enjoying working with oil paint. Thanks for checking out my work.
